Technology for good prototype

Quest, a Groop brand, is an employability skills digital accreditation tool prototype. Developed with funding from the Ufi Trust. The tool aims to accredit skills gained through delivery of volunteering or social action projects to young adults.

Equals were selected as the technology partner for this unique initiative due to our ability to take a rough idea and quickly turn it into a tangible product.

Case Content

Over a 2 month period, the team have quickly developed a new brand name, visual identity, designed user flows for the full application, scoped and built the tool.

We have also delivered a unique proposition within the prototype with gamified badging. By combining gamification and badging users can improve the way they access, develop and evidence the skills they need for work.

Jo Grant
"The Equals Team worked with Groop to develop a prototype accreditation tool - designed for mobile use - taking forward our concept and ideas to create a working product within a tight timescale and fixed project budget. The young people who worked with us as user testers fed back that they really liked the colour palette and that the accreditation tool was easy to navigate, and it has been widely acknowledged as being engaging, intuitive and original in both concept and delivery."

Equals Collective has taken an app idea and turned it into a tangible mobile friendly application; ready for user testing.
