Ski Famille approached us in 2016 to relaunch their website for the coming ski season. With a focus on conversion, we discussed our recommendations during our workshops to build a new website, incorporating a third party booking system. Their existing website was outdated and needed updating from both a usability and technical perspective.

It was vital we understood Ski Famille’s target audience well before attempting any design. We spent time, understanding both their product and their customers using existing data to inform our design team. Ski Famille provided us with an abundance of imagery, video and information and after several weeks of design, we pieced each of the elements together to create the best customer experience possible.
After launching the website we’ve continued to work using analytics, heat mapping and session recording to inform design updates to improve customer experience.
Balancing legacy browsers vs the latest technology
We worked hard on this project to lay out content for different platforms and devices in an intuitive way. From a customer’s perspective the route to purchase a family ski holiday is quite involved, so we wanted to ensure that customers were able to access all of the information they needed to make a purchase decision from any device.
We balanced features developed in the latest technology with compatibility to achieve the best outcome for the majority of Ski Famille’s target audience.
